Emily and Nick are such a special couple. Besides being incredibly funny, easy going, and the kind of people you just enjoy being around, they are so beautiful together! If you read about their engagement session, we said, “Get these two in a wedding gown and a suit, and it’s ON!” Well, friends, it. was. ON. Emily’s blush-hued gown was absolutely perfect on her with its light and whimsical style that was perfect for some dress swooshing (see below for the gorgeous swooshing session) and Nick looked nothing short of a GQ model in his navy suit. Blush and navy always look good together, just like Emily and Nick.
These two love having a good time and showing others a good time, so they made sure their wedding was a reflection of their outlook on life and love. The Barn at Shady Lane served as the backdrop for whimsical garden florals by Lillie Jane, a stunning naked cake from Cakes by Kim and flowing drapery from On-Site Productions – all executed flawlessly by Ashley and her team at I Do, I Do! Wedding Planning. Emily and Nick began their life together surrounded by all of these beautiful elements and their closest friends and family, and it was truly something special. After guests were treated to cocktail hour, the party cranked up and the dance floor was hopping! Emily even knocked everyone’s socks off when she stepped up to the mic to belt out Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” She KILLED IT, y’all!! Seriously, so good! The reception was moving and grooving right up to the sparkler sendoff.
Emily and Nick, we wish you guys all the love and happiness in the world as the new Dr. and Mrs. Brown. Keep being your happy, loving selves and making people smile! You truly have a gift, and we’re both so glad we know you!
