Today marks the 11th birthday I’ve celebrated with you. 11 years of cheesy birthday cards, 11 years of birthday shopping sprees. I feel like the last time I blinked, we were still dating and I was picking you up from your parent’s house to take you wherever you wanted to go for your birthday. All I can say is time really does fly when you’re having fun. Life is so much fun with you, Jamie.
You are so deserving of every good thing in this world. Your generosity and dedication to others is something I admire greatly. To be honest, I admire you more than anyone. It’s a cool thing to think that you look up to your spouse more than any other person on earth, isn’t it? That makes me the luckiest man in the world, and don’t I know it. The way and the amount that you love me is more than I could have ever hoped or dreamed for in a wife. You are caring, considerate, uplifting, hilarious and perfectly weird. Everyone that knows you looks up to you and values your opinions. It is truly a joy and honor to be alongside you through life. You are my best friend and you always will be. I have definitely hit the jackpot. So on your birthday, I want you to know how loved you are, how cherished you are, how respected you are, and how much you mean to me and everyone I know. You’re a gem, babe, and I can’t wait to spend another 70 years celebrating YOU. Not just on your birthday, but every day.
