Anna and her adorable little ones, Beau and Analei, were a blast to work with. First of all, they are all straight out of a GAP catalog, and they had the personalities to match their good looks. When we first met the family, little Beau walked up to us and introduced himself – “My name is Beau Samson!” and he struck some model poses in his puffer vest and toboggan… handsome doesn’t even begin to describe it! His sister, Miss Analei, is a ridiculously cute and very well-spoken little girl who gives this beautiful smirky stare to the camera that just makes you melt! Anna is a local tennis pro and had such a way with her kids, keeping them excited and all smiles while still focused on the shoot. We were super impressed and were taking mental notes for the future (the far future, don’t get your hopes up, moms!). We’ll be ready when the time does come, though, as we get a lot of parenting preparation from the moms and dads of our family sessions!
We started off our shoot on Morris Avenue in Downtown Birmingham, but we got lucky when the owner of Kinetic, a web design and application development company on Morris Ave., offered to let us come up on his roof top for some photos. Um, yes please! Morris Ave. was definitely “Photographers Alley” that evening (a warm, comfortable Sunday evening in November – got to get it while you can!), so it was nice to get away from the crowd for some private photos in an awesome setting! The human chess game and the LED hula hoops were just icing on the cake. We really appreciated the opportunity.
Extreme cuteness below. Continue at your own risk.
