Laura & Tyler

Laura and Tyler are so in love and so adorable! We had a blast with these two at their engagement session watching them flirt like they were newly dating (they’ve been together for three years!) as Tyler picked Laura up, pretended to throw her in the water and “baptize” her! Getting genuine smiles and laughter out of these two was far from difficult, and the whole session was full of silly, joyful love. (Think scenes from The Notebook of Aly and Noah playing, kissing and rubbing ice cream in each other’s faces!)

The story of their engagement totally fits them to a tee. When Laura knew Tyler had a ring, he decided that he had to convince her that he wasn’t going to propose for YEARS – whoa! – in order to ensure that she would really be surprised. He made it up to her, though, when he proposed soon after in front of the beautiful downtown view of The Club in Birmingham, while Laura’s best friend was parked close by to snap photos of the whole thing as it happened. Sounds perfect to us! As fun and playful as they are, Tyler and Laura describe themselves as an “old couple” who would rather go camping in their camper of stay at home and watch a movie (we could totally get down with that!).

The couple is currently planning a wedding at SouthWind Plantation in Wellington, Alabama, and we are so excited for them! Laura and Tyler, we pray you’ll never lose that exuberant, lighthearted love. It’s truly a beautiful thing.
