The results are in! According to The International Academy of Wedding Photographers, there were hundreds of photos submitted for this term of the Academy Photo Awards, and the judges had their work cut out for them with choosing the top 50, let alone the Top 10! After hours of scoring images, and tabulating the Facebook voting which turned out to be quite important for a few of the winners (THANK YOU GUYS!), the winners have been announced!
We are so excited to have won FIRST PLACE and TOP 10 honors in this competition. We have really admired the work of some of our fellow classmates, so being recognized among them is such an honor! We’ve learned so much already from The Academy and are really enjoying the community of fellow photographers that The Academy brings. We’ve seen some of the most beautiful images throughout this competition, and we’ll definitely take some concepts from these fellow award-winning images into the 2015-2016 wedding season to continuously improve for our amazing brides and grooms!
