The wedding day has so many moving parts. Hair, makeup, wardrobe, and it’s just reality that when you’re dealing with all those components, it can be easy to lose track of the big picture. Lauren and Logan’s day had all of those busy components, just like every wedding, but this day was different. There was hustle, there was bustle (both figuratively and literally, ha!), but neither Lauren nor Logan lost track of that big picture. It didn’t matter if whatcha-call-it had to be fixed or so-and-so was late. What mattered was, at the end of it all, this was the first day of the rest of their life. Together.
It’s no secret that one of our favorite parts of the day is the first look, and Lauren and Logan’s was so, so great. The moment they saw each other, it was like every care in the world faded away. Their smiles grew wider and you could just feel the sigh of relief. Those little stresses of wedding planning didn’t matter a bit. They make each other better, and you guys, they make each other so happy. They could have gotten married in potato sacks, and it would have been the most beautiful day. Because they are beautiful people, and they are so wonderful together.
This winter wedding had so many perfect little details like milk and cookies, a hot chocolate bar and a beautiful color scheme with pops of winter red. But, one of the best details of all was that the inside of their wedding cake was PINK to announce their sweet baby girl Evie Reese who will be making her appearance in April! It was such a joyous occasion, and the bride and groom and parents-to-be were sent off with SNOW! What better end to a December wedding!?
Lauren and Logan, you guys are so special. The love you share is one of the most apparent things we’ve ever seen. You guys are going to be tremendous partners for each other and amazing parents for that sweet little girl. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a great day. Congratulations, friends! We couldn’t be more happy for you, and we know your future is full of so much to smile about.
