We know all of their guests are still talking about it. They have to be. It was that kind of party. The kind that you reminisce about and say things like “wasn’t that so much fun!?” and “that was SUCH a good time!” Sarah & Jordan’s wedding was such a ball (in more ways than one… can we talk about that stunning American Village ballroom!?), and a celebration of love. From the meaningful vows and the heartfelt toast led by the father of the bride to the fun, silly introductions of the bridal party and the guests dancing the night away, this regal military wedding was a good one, y’all!
Their wedding day fit their personalities perfectly. Sarah and Jordan’s nicknames for each other are “Sammy” and “Tammy,” so we think that fact speaks for itself. They are always laughing and joking with each other, and their friendship really shines. They share a playful love that we really admire. And get this, you guys! They love CATS!! They are definitely our kind of people. Their cats names are Gypsey and George W. Bush (who apparently goes by “W”), and we think they’d be the best of friends with our Miss Pearl and Agent Prentiss. We need to schedule a kitty play date!
Jordan is a naval officer, so the American Village venue was a no brainer. The wonderful Christina from Christina Sloan Events did a marvelous job turning the already beautiful ballroom into something absolutely jaw-dropping. The gold details, emerald bridesmaids dresses, colorful blooms and magnolia leaves culminated into such an elegant event with the perfect pop of personality.
Sarah and Jordan, we’re so glad you met that fateful day in the Auburn University library. It was truly meant to be. And we’re so glad you trusted us to be a part of this amazing day. We had such a blast getting to know the both of you. Thank you for making us feel like part of the family. Congratulations, you guys, and cheers to happily ever after!
