We met Stephanie and Phillip in Cullman at the Clarkson Covered Bridge for their engagement session. Stephanie came up with the idea to shoot there, and we’re so glad that she did. It’s a beautiful, quiet, private place away from the hustle and bustle of our usual engagement session locations. A little too quiet, though. After telling Stephanie and Phillip about our love for Taylor Swift, we turned on some Tay Tay to get the engagement session party started. Stephanie and Phillip are already really natural around each other, but a little T.Swift is always good to calm the nerves and break the ice when you’ve got a camera in your face!
We knew we were going to love these two since the first time we met them. Our first coffee date was filled with easy conversation and a lot of laughs. They are so down to earth, easy going and really, really funny. They live life easy, which is something we all could do a little more of, right? It’s also impossible not to notice how comfortable they are around each other. Stephanie and Phillip are one of those couples that you could never imagine with anyone else, because they just seem like they were made for the other.
Stephanie and Phillip are getting married TOMORROW at Creekside Plantation, and we can’t wait! We’re in Decatur tonight for their rehearsal dinner, a casual backyard barbecue adorned with sting lights and southern charm, and we’re so excited to kick off Bussman wedding weekend! We know it’s going to be one for the books! Congratulations, sweet friends! We absolutely can’t wait to see you guys make such an amazing commitment!
