We loved the colors incorporated on this wedding day. The blue-ish gray bridesmaids dresses (the proper color is actually known as “Mystic,” Kelsea informed us!) were to die for, and we loved how they popped against the groomsmen’s black suits with the gorgeous pastel florals. Kelsea’s gown was light and airy, perfect for a hot summer wedding day, but still so elegant and detailed. Her earrings had a hint of blue in the stones which accented the gown and her bridal party perfectly! Ummm, yes please!!
In the midst of all the impeccable details of their wedding day, we found something absolutely hilarious. There was a picture frame on their guestbook table surrounded by cute calligraphy signs, engagement pictures on display, etc. Inside that picture frame was the stock photo that came in the frame, but Kelsea and Taylor had glued their heads on top of the stock photo bride and groom’s bodies!! They did such a good job with it that we truly don’t think anyone else noticed. We had ourselves a good laugh when we finally spotted it! We think that little silly detail placed in the middle of all the other gorgeousness was a perfect illustration of Kelsea and Taylor as a couple – classy, gorgeous and put together, with a little bit of silly sarcasm underneath!
When Kelsea walked down the aisle to Taylor on her father’s arm with tears streaming down her face, the guests were having a hard time holding back their own emotions. The ceremony was so touching, and it was so obvious how much this sweet couple truly love each other. It was one of those ceremonies where you didn’t have the urge to look at your watch or your phone or zone out letting your thoughts go elsewhere, because you could tell that this wasn’t a going-through-the-motions type of ceremony for Kelsea and Taylor. This was real, and this was deep, and this was a big deal. And oh, how grateful we are we got to be a part of it!
Kelsea and Taylor, we love you guys! Thank you for letting us hang out with you on the biggest day of your lives! You two are so special and so beautiful inside and out. Congratulations, friends! We are so happy for you!
