Kim and Blair had the most gorgeous wedding day! We started out at Ross Bridge where we took portraits in the hot, sticky Alabama weather but thanked Heaven for the bright, beautiful sun! Kim and Blair were such troopers throughout our portrait time in the high temps. The weather didn’t seem to phase them – they were just beautiful and happy to be getting married! Prince of Peace Catholic Church served as the perfect venue for their heartfelt, traditional ceremony with light pouring in the stained glassed windows and the cutest little ring bearers and flower girl we’ve ever seen! After these two made it official, we headed over to Linc Point, and the party started!
Their reception was such a fun time of daytime dancing with the fun-loving couple and wedding party and wedding guests who really knew how to get down! We watched guests air guitar and headbang to “Jesse’s Girl” and Kim’s uncle take the mic for his rendition of “Sweet Home Alabama,” which of course led to a contest of who could yell the loudest – the “Roll Tide Roll’s” or the “War D*mn Eagle’s!” Halfway through the reception, Big Stone Creamery joined the party and passed out chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches (delish!!) to the reception guests! It was the perfect summertime treat to refuel these dancing fools!! Finally, guests sent the happy couple off with ribbons as they headed off to their dream honeymoon to explore all The Golden State has to offer!
Kim and Blair, we feel a little jealous when we see your adorable photos from your California escapades, but we love seeing those smiles! We hope that you are reliving your wedding day during the seventh inning stretch of a Giants game or during a picnic in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, and you’re hugging each other a little tighter thinking about your amazing wedding day and the incredible love you have for each other! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to be a part of such an phenomenal day!
