The red-soled Christian Louboutins were gorgeous. The stunning rings, the brass details, and the incredible HotHouse blooms were a photographer’s dream. Not to mention, the gorgeous Canterbury United Methodist Church sanctuary and courtyard were the perfect settings for such a classic, timeless wedding day. We were in heaven. But it was Anna and Charley that really made this wedding as amazing as it was. It’s their bold personalities, loud laughter and bright smiles that really made us thankful to be a part of the big day. The details were incredible, but we loved Anna and Charley more. Their love for each other and their obvious compatibility is something we’ll never forget.
After a heartfelt ceremony, Anna and Charley’s reception felt a lot like a house party full of your closest friends. Kids were playing in the front yard of Clubhouse on Highland, rolling down the large, steep hill and playing tag. Families and old friends were catching up on the front porch while others danced to the three-piece band inside. Charley and Anna greeted their guests as Shindigs Catering brought around heavy hors d’oeuvre and the late night snack of truffle fries (we had some – they were awesome!). We loved watching people eat, drink, and be merry and listening as sweet family members toasted the bride and groom. It was a friendly, loving, and lively reception, and we loved every second of it!
Newlyweds, thank you. Thank you for making us feel like part of the family on your wedding day. You both are so beautiful inside and out, and you have true hearts of gold! We loved listening to your sweet family and friends’ tributes to your love, and we know every word of what they said is true. You are the perfect complement for one another, and we feel so honored that we were able to document the beginning of your amazing union for years to come. You had an INCREDIBLE wedding, you guys. Thank you for letting us tag along.
P.S. we hear Anna’s grandmother who couldn’t make it to the wedding was looking really forward to reliving the wedding day through this blog. Hey, grandma! 🙂 We’re sad we didn’t get to meet you, but you sure do have an amazing granddaughter and grandson-in-law!
