Amy and Nolan met in college while out with friends. One of Amy’s friends spilled the beans to Nolan that she thought he was cute, so he came over and asked her to dance. They danced and talked for hours that night, exchanged phone numbers, and the rest is history! While meeting in college is a fairly typical way for couples to meet, we think it’s amazing. We think it is amazing because of who Amy and Nolan are. They are each other’s perfect match and each other’s perfect complement. They have the same sarcastic, witty, out-of-the-box humor and even some of the same mannerisms. They dance goofy and love so deeply. They wouldn’t fit with anyone else. They belong together. And we think it is amazing that one fateful night in Auburn in 2012, these two were in the same bar, at the same time, and their lives were never the same.
These two are so special to us. We talked in their engagement session blog about how they are the kind of couple that makes our job amazing. Because we get to work with gorgeous, kind, compassionate people like these two, and we get to be by their sides during the most incredible day of their lives. Despite tired feet, we go home at the end of the night with a pep in our step because of couples like Amy and Nolan. We’re grateful the world has people like them!
Amy and Nolan – your wedding was a day we will never forget! We’ll never forget your first dance and the way you looked at each other as Amy walked down the aisle. We’re thankful for your friendship, and we are inspired by your relationship! Thank you for allowing us to share these memories with you. We love you guys!
