Their first dance was such an illustration of their relationship. They held each other close, looked into each others’ eyes. They took it seriously. They were happy, content and so grateful for one another. You could see their love. They had a moment. They danced together to a soft, significant song, and then, (insert record needle scratch) the DJ put on “Turn Down for What,” and the wedding party joined the couple on the dance floor. They busted a move, laughed, and brought the house down! The way Michelle and Michael interact with one another is something we can all hope for in a relationship. They know how to love deep, and they know how to laugh hard. Can you say #RelationshipGoals?
We had a little “moment” of our own as we spent half the day at the venue where we tied the knot, the beautiful Tutwiler Hotel. It will always be a special place to us, and we jump at every chance we get to visit. Michelle’s getting-ready room was the Honeymoon Suite, and the same room where Jamie got ready as well. Their first look was in the exact same spot where we had our first look, and boy, did it bring back the memories! We remember exactly how Michelle and Michael were feeling as they turned around and saw their forever. We absolutely love photographing love, because we know what love feels like! Capturing the moments when you can almost feel the bride and groom’s hearts beating out of their chest in anticipation. It gives us chills every time.
Michael and Michelle’s wedding day was one for the books. Funny, thoughtful “Limbo guy” and one of the coolest, chillest girls we know got married, and we’re so glad we were able to be a part of it! Limbo guy and cool girl, THANK YOU for having us! We love you guys and we wish you all of the happiness in the world!
