We LOVE these two. Love in all caps. We felt an instant bond with Allison and Andrew after we first met them at the initial consultation and had a ridiculously good time with them at their engagement session (it’s a winner – see it here!), so this has been a wedding that we’ve been looking forward to for a long time. They are so kind, thoughtful, and so stinking hilarious. The way they bounce jokes off each other and spit quick, witty one-liners keeps us laughing, and our cheeks were definitely hurting by the end of the day! We spent a lot of time during portraits making Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt references, and especially singing the “Outside Bones” song. If you don’t know what we’re talking about, see the clip here. It’s a ridiculous, impromptu song about Trident gum that quickly turns awkward/hilarious, and we just couldn’t stop singing it!
Aside from being insanely funny and easy on the eyes (the photos speak for themselves, yeah? They are incredibly photogenic, and they look so good together!!), their relationship is so strong and their love is so evident. Their relationship is built upon a firm foundation of friendship, support, and understanding, and you can just see it in the way they interact with each other. They are each other’s person, each other’s strong hold, fitting together like puzzle pieces. It’s beautiful to watch, really, and we’re grateful that we had a front row seat.
Allison and Andrew got married at Stone Bridge Farms in Cullman, Alabama, and you would have never known that the rain moved some portraits to a front porch and the ceremony inside, because everything turned out perfect at the end of they day. The guests were loving the air conditioning (the humidity after a summer rain was no joke!), and the post-summer storm sunlight was coming through the windows perfectly. It seems like the wedding day was exactly how it should be. Funny how that happens, doesn’t it?
After their gorgeous firework display and sparkler send-off, Allison and Andrew did what a lot of couples sometimes do. They came back into their reception and spent more time with their friends and family. A lot of times, most guests have already left, but the wedding party and immediate family will stick around to hug, say goodbye, or just spend a little more time with each other. Allison and Andrew stayed for another hour or so of fun that included silly dancing, Allison twirling in their wedding dress, and a lot of crazy photos! These guys were SO much fun that a lot of those photos didn’t make the blog post, but trust us when we way, it was a good time!
Allison and Andrew, thank you for your friendship. Thank you for being so incredibly in love and for letting us document it. Thank you for being two of the sweetest people we’ve ever met and for looking so good together. It blows our mind that we get to call spending a day with people like you our jobs, but all we can do is thank Heaven for it. We love you both.
