For us, it was love at first coffee date. One reason we love Morgan and Phil was because their chemistry is obvious. Like two peas in a pod, they just fit. The way that couples fit after 25 or 50 years of marriage. You know what we’re talking about. Another (and more shallow) reason why we fell in love with these two is our shared and unabashed love for a certain TV show…The Bachelor. Yep. We said it. Here we are, celebrating marriages and valuing monogamous relationships, yet we grab the popcorn every time Chris Harrison shows up on our TV. We’re guilty, and we have no excuse. The funnier thing we found out while talking to Morgan and Phil about who needs to get the rose and who needs to go home was that Phil is totally into it. He is emotionally invested in The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and he doesn’t care. We like a man who isn’t afraid to say he likes group dates and rose ceremonies. You go, Phil, you go.
Morgan and Phil met us in downtown Birmingham where we wandered around Railroad Park and Morris Avenue, laughing and talking about life and their plans for the future. Phil made Morgan giggle so genuinely and playfully throughout their session, and we couldn’t get enough of it. Watching these two interact with each other made us so excited to hang out with them again at their wedding at Canterbury United Methodist and The Club THIS Saturday! We’re so pumped!!
