Laine and Dustin got engaged a few months ago in Nashville. Laine was running in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Rock ’n Roll Half Marathon, and Dustin came up to Nashville to support her. He upgraded his title, though, from supportive boyfriend to amazing fiancé when he proposed to her as she crossed the finish line! Laine loves to run and was accomplishing something really important to her by running the half, and seeing Dustin at the end, waiting for her on one knee had to have been icing on the cake! We think that’s such a sweet story! There were two other couples who got engaged during the race (because what an amazing way to propose, right!?), but it’s important to note that Laine and Dustin’s proposal happened FIRST, because she finished the race before the other new fiancés! She’s beautiful AND fast! 😉
We loved our time with Laine and Dustin at The Waters in Montgomery. It’s a gorgeous little community with beautiful homes and gardens, whimsical fields, a killer sunset, and our favorite, Spanish moss!! The neighborhood had its own little post office and diner, everyone waved at each other as they walked or drove by, and numerous residents congratulated Laine & Dustin on their engagement! We felt a little bit like we were wandering around Pleasantville or Stars Hollow! It was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect spot for Laine and Dustin’s engagement session!
These love birds are tying the knot in November, and we can’t wait! They are an amazing couple so full of love, compassion and joy! They are so friendly, fun-loving, and absolutely crazy about each other. We could go on and on, but we’ll save that for the wedding blog post! All we’ve got to say is, bring on November!!
