We have been anticipating Kristian and Frantz’s big day since we got to know this couple during their engagement session (which you can see here!). We knew that it would be a special wedding, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Both families are so full of love and appreciation for one another, and watching Kristian and Frantz’s reaction to heart-felt toasts from their family members and Kristian’s father’s emotional reaction to the wedding ceremony may have brought a few tears to Jamie’s eye.
This was also an international wedding. Frantz’s family traveled all the way from Guadalupe, and the couple even incorporated Frantz’s native language of French into the ceremony and reception. Kristian and Frantz did an amazing job of incorporating each other’s culture and traditions into the day, and it was so interesting to see these cultures merge.
As if the wedding wasn’t international enough, salsa dancing played a big part in the reception. Kristian and Frantz love to salsa dance, and they dang look good doing it! It took a while for guests to get on the dance floor, but once Kristian and Frantz set the example, they didn’t sit down. The guests cha-cha’d until it was time for the couple to depart, and we might have even cut a rug too!
We are so excited for Kristian and Frantz as they finally start their no-longer-long-distance relationship. Kristian and Frantz planned their wedding thousands of miles apart as Kristian practiced law in Florida while Frantz worked as a biomedical researcher in California (umm.. can you say power couple!?). Now, the couple can enjoy a happy marriage in the same zip code in San Francisco. Congratulations, Kristian and Frantz!
