The Canes

We are feeling pretty special this evening because we got to photograph the ultimate power family. Really. There’s the Kennedys, the Kardashians and the Canes. Amy and Chris Cane and their children Emily, Sam, Mia, Aran and Ella, not only have a phenomenal sense of humor and easy-going personalities, but they are also ridiculously good looking, photogenic and have a lot of love for one another. Not to mention, they had just ran a 5K together as a family and were on their way to play some soccer after their photo shoot. Whew! We’re tired just thinking about it.

This family was so much fun. They skipped rocks in the Cahaba River and came up with some goofy/awesome picture ideas. All we had to do was point a camera in the kids’ direction, and they’d strike some sort of pose. Jamie taught Mia how to “smirk,” and she really loved it. After she mastered the sassy smirk, it was hard to get her to do anything else. We don’t blame her, though. When you’ve got it, you’ve got it.

We loved the opportunity to get to know a great, local family, and families like the Canes are one of the many reasons why we absolutely love our job!
