Kimberlyn and Timothy, or as their friends and family call them – Kim & Tim (cutest couple name ever!!) – had such a magical wedding day. The historic Rucker Place served as the perfect locations for the beautiful, meaningful ceremony and the so fun reception. We’ve yet to meet many people as sweet as Kim. She’s always smiling, laughing, and lighting up a room. There’s really no way you could ever be in a bad mood around her. Tim is the same way. He’s laid back, so easy going, and so easy to be around. Together, they’re an amazing team and so obviously head over heels for each other.
Kim and Tim have a son together, Aiden, who is ridiculously adorable. Seeing him watch his mom walk down the aisle while holding his dad’s hand was an amazing sight to see. It was almost as amazing as Tim’s face when he saw his bride in her gorgeous gown. After they said “I do,” shared their first kiss as man and wife, and danced down the aisle during the recessional (Yes! They danced, and it was awesome!), we took some gorgeous sunset couple’s portraits and then proceeded to the party! Tim’s family is from Kenya, so the reception was full of Kenyan music, dancing, and traditions which was so fun to be a part of. All the guests were on the dance floor, whether the music were classic American dance songs like The Wobble and the Electric Slide, or whether it was a Kenyan song we’d never heard before. That didn’t stop anyone! It was such a celebration!
Mr. and Mrs. Mbogo, we’re so glad we were a part of your amazing day! You two are so great together, and you’re phenomenal parents for that sweet son of yours. Your family is so full of love, and we had SUCH a blast with you guys! Congratulations. We are so, so happy for you!
