The McLains

The McLain family was a fun bunch. Ryan and Carley have two beautiful children, Kellan and Cora. The little ones were shy at first, but they both livened up pretty quickly as time went on. Cora had a fascination with our big, shiny reflector, so we were able to get her attention while blocking and bouncing some light for the photos, which worked out pretty well. Kellan was a great helper in getting his little sister to laugh, and when it was his time in front of the camera, he’d give us some coy smirks and then some high fives afterward. The whole fam was dressed like they were ready for a Gap commercial (yes, please!), and Carley was working the hair. She really has some great hair.

Although we love a good full-family photo, Jamie’s favorite part is when Ryan and Carley took some photos as a couple and Jamie got to hold Cora for a little while. She’s always willing to let Eric take the reins to hold a cute baby. Cora was such a well-behaved and loving little girl. She even gave her mom a biiiig wet kiss for the camera. You’ll see what we’re talking about below – you may have to look closely!

We really enjoyed meeting this sweet couple and their super cute kids. It’s always nice to spend some time with fellow Trussvillians and make some beautiful images!
