Whitney & Andy

Whitney and Andy are rockstars of engagement shoots. Grammy-award winning rockstars! From genuine love and laughter to a coy playfulness that is amazing on camera, they’ve got it all. Their engagement session definitely made us #happilyeveroverstreet (shameless plug for their adorable wedding hashtag!)

We met the couple at Moss Rock Preserve in Hoover, and the first thing we noticed was how well their outfits coordinated. These two just look good together! We scaled some boulders to get some great shots (you know… risking our lives on the regular for our couples) and snapped as these two love birds kissed in a cave. We then ventured into The Preserve neighborhood for some photos that were a bit more formal, exploring the community’s Town Hall and local shops and restaurants.

We knew that Whitney and Andy were our kind of people from our first consultation with them, especially when we left the coffee shop and wound up at the same restaurant for dinner (Mexican, duh.) We really love how easy going they are. They are both the “go with the flow” type, and treated this engagement session as a time to be along for the ride, laugh a lot and spend time with the person that they love. It was a very natural experience, (as natural as two people can be kissing for a camera!), and we were so pumped to be able to sit back and document it as it happened.

Whitney and Andy, you guys are awesome! We absolutely cannot wait for your wedding this March, but until then, we’re glad we have these beautiful shots to hold us over. Check out some of our favorites from this session below.
