We ventured into the beauty that is Greenville, South Carolina for Sally & Michael’s wedding day. We had only had “Skype dates” with Sally & Michael before the wedding, so we were anxious and excited to finally meet them face to face. Thanks to modern technology, they were just exactly what we were expecting… but more. We already knew they were sweet, funny, and very in love, but Sally & Michael version 2.0 were so kind, so easy-going and so very glad to be giving each other forever. We loved watching Michael cry tears of joy as he read the sweet letter his soon-to-be wife wrote him and watching Sally get nervous and emotional before walking down the aisle to see her love. They are a special couple, that’s for sure. One that just fits together. You can’t picture either one of them with anyone else, and from the outside looking in, it just feels right.
We LOOOVED the color pallet for this wedding. We’ve been obsessed with jewel tones lately, so this winter wedding was a happy place for us! We kept saying “oh! This is PERFECT – like you picked out your colors with your venue in mind!” Sally, of course, told us that she did actually plan her color scheme around the gorgeous brick walls of the Old Cigar Warehouse, which doesn’t surprise us a bit when we think about it. Sally & Michael are so put together, so effortless, and just so, for lack of a more appropriate word… cool.
After the wedding, we had such a good time in South Carolina catching up with our sweet friends, Ryan & Alyssa, who we met and fell in love with at the AJ Workshop (which you can read about here!). We also took a little day trip to Ashville, North Carolina to see the Biltmore Estate, and it was so worth the trip! It was a weekend full of love in so many ways, and we’re thankful to Sally & Michael for letting us be a part of such an amazing event! You guys – the friendship between you two is so apparent, and we know that you will have a lifetime of so much love and laughter! Congratulations!
