Kim & Blair

Oh, we’re so excited to share this blog post with you guys! We’ve been having such a love affair with Birmingham lately. Okay, yes, we have one about once a month, but for different reasons. Our current love affair is all about the classic, and it all started with Kim & Blair. We met the future Mr. and Mrs. Shores at Morris Avenue and then ventured into Railroad Park. Two classic Birmingham locations, right!? It was Kim and Blair that reignited our love for these classic locations in the city. Being able to photograph a beautiful couple (whose wardrobe was spot-on, might we add!) in front of some of Birmingham’s most notable locations really gave us a whole new appreciation for our city and the amazing couples we get to work with!! Our session was full of people walking their dogs, jogging, saying hello when they pass, and even a ballerina dancing in the middle of the park! People gravitate toward Railroad Park and Morris Ave. – why? Because they are lovely, interesting and welcoming. The perfect locations for this sweet couple who share the same characteristics.

Kim & Blair are really a perfect, all-American couple. Kim is a first grade teacher, and you can tell by the way she lights up when she talks about her job that she’s really an amazing teacher for those little ones and has such an impact. Blair is an attorney here in Birmingham who goes in to work to visit his clients, on a SUNDAY, right before his engagement session. That’s dedication, if you ask us! And together, this couple is so strong. You can just tell. They seem to be the perfect complement for one another, and we loved watching them whisper and laugh quietly with each other during their session. It was like they were in their own world together. Love, you guys. Sweet love!

Kim & Blair are getting married in July at Linc Point, and we know that it’s going to be an amazing day! These two are meant to be, and we just can’t wait for their big day!
