Hannah and Scott met at Alabama Outdoors, a local retail shop, where Scott was Hannah’s manager. Hannah had just graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in education, and she wasn’t finding the perfect job for her right after graduation. So, while hunting for her dream job, she would come home after work every day and tell her friends about her “cute manager with a great beard.” And the rest was history, y’all. It’s funny how things happen like that, isn’t it? Ideally, Hannah would have loved to have found a position at a school immediately after graduation, but sometimes life throws us the perfect curveball, and you meet the love of your life.
We love these two, you guys. Since we first met them and had a blast at their engagement session with the famous pups, Brutus and Blue, we knew Hannah and Scott were something special. They are hilarious, and their loud laughter and bright smiles are so contagious. Their relationship has been long distance most of the time, with Hannah in Birmingham teaching 2nd grade at a local elementary school and Scott in both Nashville and Atlanta opening stores for his company. You would think, though, by the way they interact and finish each other’s sentences, that they are together every second of the day! The time is coming soon, though! Hannah will be joining Scott in Atlanta at the end of the school year, and they will finally get to Netflix and chill together EVERY night!
Hannah and Scott tied the knot (#HannahandScottTieTheKnot!!) at St. Stephen Catholic Chapel and then celebrated at Iron City in downtown Birmingham. Their wedding ceremony was both liturgical and poetic, and their reception was one of the liveliest celebrations we’ve been a part of. The details were stunning, with the centerpieces showcasing famous Birmingham landmarks, and the dancing was on point. Hannah and Scott performed an amazing rendition of Jay Z’s “99 Problems,” and wedding guests formed a circle around Scott for his solo performance of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” YOU GUYS. We haven’t laughed that hard in a while. These two are really such a joy to be around.
We can’t tell you guys how honored and thrilled we are to now call you friends. Congratulations on an amazing marriage! We wish you all the happiness in the whole world!
