Rachael and Ben are like so many young couples in our world today – they met online! We’ve been together since you updated your Facebook status in third person (who remembers that!?) and before the world of Match, eHarmony or Tinder. So when we talk to couples who met on the net, we are always so curious about their story and how their e-relationship unfolded! These two met up in person soon after connecting, and hit it off immediately. It was love at first swipe! 😉 It didn’t take long for these two to realize that they had found their person.
We spent time with Rachael and Ben at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which is one of our favorite places to shoot because of the great architecture and lush green spaces. We stopped in the greenhouse and visited the jungle and desert where Jamie may or may not have had an encounter with of our spiked friends. Attacked by a 4 foot cactus in Alabama. You don’t hear that every day. Ok, it was like 2 needles, so not very exciting!
Rachael and Ben seriously have the best chemistry together. Usually, there’s a 10-15 minute warm-up period for our couples to get comfortable having two people with cameras in front of them. Not these two! Immediately, they started snuggling up and canoodling like they have a photo shoot every Tuesday at 5pm. They are so crazy about each other and have such a natural love, and we think it’s apparent in these photos!
Rachael and Ben are tying the knot next year in sunny Sarasota, Florida, and we are so happy for them! We are cheering you on all the way, Rachael and Ben!!
