Heather & Ryan

Ryan and Heather’s wedding was FUN. That’s the best way to describe the day. They both were so laid back, easy going and FUN. Both of their personalities compliment the other’s so well, the family was so friendly, and there were no bridal meltdowns, arguments or drama like you see in romantic comedies – it was just an overall GOOD day. Hoover’s Aldridge Gardens was the perfect setting for the ceremony, and thank heavens, the weather on this August Friday was actually quite pleasant.

Heather was beautiful in her wedding gown, Ryan was looking snazzy in his slate gray suit, and they looked so great together. This “first look” is one of the best we’ve been a part of. These two love each other so much, and this day was a long time coming. You could see it on their faces. When they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, it was certainly something special.

Ryan made his own beer for the wedding with sweet personalized labels, and it must have been some good brew, because the party kicked up immediately. This group definitely knew how to have a good time. From The Wobble, to “YMCA,” to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” they didn’t sit down! After dancing the night away, the happy couple headed out through a sea of bubbles to their Jamaican honeymoon.

We really grew to love this couple. It’s amazing how you can get to know each other through emails, meetings over coffee and a fun engagement shoot (which you can see here!). They are just great people, and we know they’ve got many years of blissful marriage ahead of them! We wish Heather and Ryan all the happiness in the world, and we are so grateful to have been a part of their big day!
