You know those people who you just like immediately? You might not even know them yet, but there’s something about their demeanor that screams, “those are good people.” There’s just something about them that you just really like. They are just so… likeable. That’s how we felt from the start about Jamie and Mitchell, and our first instinct was right on the money. They are kind, funny, and the cherry on top – incredibly photogenic! When we met up with them for their engagement session recently, we quickly remembered why we fell in love with them during our coffee date a few months ago and why this was an engagement session that we’ve really been looking forward to!
We are crazy about this session because it captures so many things that we love. 1) Genuine love and joyful smiles. Jamie and Mitchell are so in love, and you can just see it on their faces. There’s no denying it. 2) Beautiful downtown Birmingham. We are a sucker for shooting in the downtown area, and if ask us to choose the location, that’s what we will suggest. The buildings, the architecture, the pops of color.. we LOVE it. And lastly, 3) Sentimental value. Jamie and Mitchell wanted two looks for their engagement session, and they wanted their “casual” look to include glasses (which they both wear mostly every day! So cute!) and to take place on the bench where Mitchell proposed. Isn’t that PERFECT!?? We thought so. So sweet and so true to who they are together.
